Färbertagetes, Tagetes erecta Saatgut

Die Blüten der Färbertagetes färben Stoffe und Garne kräftig Gelb bis Orange, mit Eisenbeize ergeben sich dunkle Olivtöne. Man kann jede Tagetesvariante zum Färben verwenden, die Hohe Tagetes mit gefüllten Blüten ist aber besonders ergiebig. Diese Variante blüht überwiegend zitronengelb: färbst du mit den frischen Blüten, ergibt sich manchmal ein ganz eigener Grüngelb-Ton!

This annual is best planted in a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. This marigold variant grows up to 80cm high and is beautiful in mixed plantings. Like smaller marigolds, they are good partners in mixed cultures and are effective against nematodes. The large, double flowers don't just contain dye, they are also edible. Marigold is also traditionally used as a medicinal plant. You can harvest flowers from the plants several times, and if there are no early frosts, they will bloom well into late autumn.
